A rare opportunity to see famed Brazilian singer Katia Moraes team up with South American folk authority Ted Falcon from the Los Angeles Choro Ensemble. Choro is considered the first popular music of Brazil and often described as the "New Orleans style jazz" from South America. The style often has a fast and happy rhythm, characterized by virtuosity and improvisation. - Ted Falcon on bandolim, Mitchell Long on cavaquinho, Ami Molinelli on percussion, Colin Walker on 7-string guitar and Katia Moraes on lead vocals, special guest Rebecca Kleinman on flute.
